Rosette Nebula

« PreviousBack to Astrophotography GalleryNext »

This is a simple black & white rendition of the popular Rosette Nebula, located in the constellation Monoceros. Due to cloudy skies, tree-limited horizons and a late season start, I was only able to collect 6 frames in hydrogen-alpha for this image--hope to add more frames next season!
